  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 72 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met the amazing Buke Tours team who will pick you up and check you into your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore this bustling metropolis which is also the capital city of Kenya. Accommodation: Hotel Meal plan: Full-board

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up and driven to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the camp. After lunch, you shall be treated to a breathtaking game drive in the grassland of the savannah. The Masai mara game reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary. You will easily spot the big five; well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Accommodation: camp/lodge Meal plan: Full board

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve Combined with a Hot Air Balloon Ride

On this day you will have a very early morning call as early as 0430am, one of our drivers will pick you up and transfer you to the balloon ride meeting point. Meet other guests who will be joining you for this spectacular experience. The Balloon takes off some minutes to 6 am and in the next hour you will be exploring the beauty of Masai Mara where you will capture the early morning Big 5 hunts as well as the beautiful sunrise. Masai Mara is the northernmost part of the spectacular Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, home to the Great Wildebeest Migration and scores of other wildlife, including the famous African Big 5 Accommodation: camp/lodge Meal plan: Full board

Day 4: Maasai Mara Full Day Game Drive

After breakfast, you will be proceeding on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Accommodation: camp/lodge Meal plan: Full-board

Day 5: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Early morning game drive before breakfast. Thereafter breakfast leave the camp and drive to Lake Nakuru national park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in this rift valley lake is often referred to as “the biggest bird spectacle “due to the millions of flamingo birds that habit the lake. Feast your eyes with sightings of flamingos over the lake, often referred to as the Pink Lake Nakuru and magnificent wildlife views like the giraffe, black and white Rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, Baboon and several other species. Day 6: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After an early breakfast, the drive continues to Kenya’s highest lake, at 1,880 meters above sea level, Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. You will observe Hippos lazing in the lake and Buffalos grazing on the shores during your boat ride. There are over 300 species of birds to observe. These include the Grey-capped Warbler, Spectacled Weaver, Brimstone Canary, and the Red-billed fire finch. Lunch will be served at Fishermen Camp or similar. In the afternoon there are boat trips on the lake or nature walks on crescent Island. You will have the chance to see some of the animals at very close range e.g. Zebras, Giraffes and Wildebeest. Depart from lake Naivasha and drive to Nairobi to arrive in the evening Accommodation: Hotel Meal plan: Full-board

Day 7: Nairobi Excursion - Airport Drop-Off

After breakfast, we drive to the Giraffe Centre where you feed Rothschild giraffes under the supervision of keepers. The center has rescued, hand-reared and released giraffes back into the wild. This attraction offers opportunities to feed the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe by hand. The location also offers a fine education on the physiology, behaviors preferences of these beautiful animals. Afterwards, a drive to the elephant orphanage the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust elephant offers a wonderful opportunity to meet staff caring for baby elephants, and sometimes baby rhinos, which have been orphaned. Each keeper gives a short presentation to the visitors nearest to him, explaining how orphaned elephants need to be cared for. After this visit, you will go for lunch and then be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
